Guests have praised the holiday rental for its cleanliness, modern homely feel, and thoughtful touches like fresh eggs and welcome items. The property offers spacious accommodation in a peaceful rural setting, ideal for families. While some guests mentioned minor issues with facilities and comfort, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many keen to return.
The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews noting it as spotless, well-kept, and free from mould or mildew. The fresh and clean condition of the property contributes significantly to the positive guest experience.
The location is appreciated for its quiet rural setting with easy road links to Cornish towns and beaches. It's also considered safe and suitable for young children, enhancing its appeal. However, there is a mention of limited sunlight due to overgrown trees, which slightly impacts the score.
Comfort receives a mixed response. While the property is generally found to be homely and spacious, there are complaints about uncomfortable beds and issues with an electric shower. These points suggest room for improvement in this category.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the property being equipped for a functional holiday stay. However, some guests noted a lack of certain kitchen utensils, broken items, and non-functional bathroom extractors, indicating that maintenance could be enhanced.
The host's thoughtfulness is evident through mentions of welcome items and fresh eggs, contributing to a positive guest experience. It's important to note that while these gestures are appreciated, they may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

Minimal damage wear and tear over the years. The paintwork is still clean and fresh, as is the tilings and fixtures in the bathrooms. No mold or mildew or stained grout anywhere! Clean and crisp. The facilities are excellent. The host is lovely and helpful, Fresh eggs on site, lovely bits upon welcome( tea, coffee, sugar, cookies, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, scourers etc) , the kitchen is well stocked with enough cutlery and crockery and utensils for 8 people for a functionable holiday let property not a professionals chefs suite. People complaining about not having a colander or grater are being picky. The fridge freezer is a very decent size and the bonus of a washing machine helps! Great tv and WiFi. Depending on the proximity of where youâre sleeping, and how much of a deep sleeper you are, you may be woken by the cockerel in the morning. Take ear plugs if your a light delicate sleeper. The bedding and towels are clean and crisp. Overall excellent property in an excellent location and we will be returning in the future.

What letâs it down is the quality of the facilities: Beds are very uncomfortable spring coils Very limited stock of crockery and cooking items Clothes airer is broken The extractors to the bathrooms do not work There are no hanging hooks on doors in bedrooms or bathrooms that would help to air/dry towels.
