Boasting a fantastic location, Abelia sits conveniently between Lelant and Carbis Bay, sleeping up to eight guests and offering a stylish, luxury retreat for your holiday to Cornwall, with everything you would need for a family holiday.

Whether for a family or group holiday, Abelia is the perfect getaway, with spacious living and the prime location to explore West Cornwall. Step into the light and airy hallway leading you into the open-plan, modern kitchen and dining area. Here you will find top-of-the-range appliances, perfect for entertaining and cooking up a feast for all to enjoy, and a large circular dining table to enjoy a social gathering over some home-cooked food and a glass of wine.

The ground floor also offers an expansive living area, complete with three comfortable and contemporary sofas, a large coffee table, and a 55-inch wall-mounted Smart television, perfect for a cosy night watching your favourite film, not forgetting the popcorn! A small cloakroom can also be found on this floor. Abelia offers underfloor heating throughout the ground floor for that added comfort.

The open-plan kitchen and dining area, and living area, both provide bi-folding doors leading out to the rear garden area; a real suntrap on those sunny afternoons and ideal for a barbecue after a day of exploring.

Inside, follow the stairs to the first floor to find four bright and tastefully furnished bedrooms, scattered with crushed velvet cushions, fluffy throws, and luxurious bed linens, all to ensure a cosy and comfortable night's sleep. The bedrooms are fitted with Smart television and are serviced by the family bathroom. To the rear of the first floor, there is a twin bedroom, ideal for children or teens, and a king-size bedroom, whilst to the front, you will find another king-size bedroom and a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room.

This stunning detached home is only a few minutes walk to Porthkidney’s beautiful dog-friendly beach, as well as being just a short walk from the village pub and shop. There is also an 18-hole golf course nearby for those looking for a bit of friendly competition. Adventure out for the day by walking the South West coastal path, just minutes away, where you will stumble upon the wonderful sandy beach of Carbis Bay. Head onwards to St Ives, down on the harbour front and in the town centre where you will find an array of art galleries, eateries and boutique shops.

You could even leave the cars at home and catch the scenic train all the way throughout Cornwall, right down to Lelant station, less than a quarter of a mile down the road.

Abelia really is the perfect space for a Cornwall holiday, whether it's catching up with friends and family to enjoy some fun in the sun, or relaxing together in this spacious home from home.

Abelia is a beautiful home in a great location. Took our adult children and new grand daughter and made some lovely memories together in March 23. The owner has designed the interior to a high standard and has added many personal touches such as providing slippers and quality guest toiletries which makes it feel even more luxurious. The downstairs is spacious and has everything needed if you want to cook and enjoy a meal around the sociable table in the dining area or enjoy a movie together in the lounge. The bedrooms are beautifully designed with very comfortable beds. The house is a 5 minute walk from the Badger which provides great pub grub. It’s a ten minute walk to the station at Lelant where the train runs regularly to Carbis Bay and St Ives so once parked at the house you don’t need to drive. The coastal path is a great way to see the stunning coast. We stopped off at the Carbis Bay Hotel and sat outside with a local cider and a coffee in the warm spring sunshine before continuing onto St Ives. There are also many local dog friendly beaches near the property such as Porth Kidney sands which is breathtaking. I would highly recommend Abelia and will definitely be returning.

Wonderful getaway at the beautiful Abelia. The attention to detail in this property is exquisite making for a luxurious stay. Everything has been thought of and nothing is left to chance. Such a fabulous location, where a short walk gets you to a beautiful beach, which we had almost to ourselves. We had a wonderful walk along the coast one day but closer to home a cosy pub. There are also lovely restaurants staggering distance from the property. We had a great stay and will definitely be back.

We have just got back from our wonderfully, relaxing stay at Abelia; a house so new that Google maps couldn’t find it. A good job the directions supplied were spot-on. From our arrival to discover the generous welcome basket of tasty local treats, to our reluctant departure, our whole stay was delightful. The house is superbly appointed and fitted out. Whoever chose the pictures and other decorations clearly has great taste and knew what they were doing. There is just the right quantity and they are all visibly good quality. The kitchen is spacious, and if we had wanted to, could have used it to cook up a feast. It would just take time to locate where everything was; so many cupboards! The main sitting room is large with ample seating for everyone to relax and chill out. Upstairs there are 4 comfortable and roomy bedrooms. Our only problem was deciding on who should sleep where; too much choice. Being late autumn, we were unable to take advantage of the patio and garden areas, but I imagine in spring and summer, these will be ideal for barbecues and outdoor dining. Abelia is located in Lelant, a great base for exploring Cornwall. The village itself has a charming church, a welcoming pub within easy walking distance of the house, and at low tide an expansive beach with views over to Hayle. St Ives, recently voted the happiest place in Britain, can be reached by bus, train, car or as we did along the South West Coastal Footpath. A short drive the other side of Hayle is Godrevy Point where we went seal watching. On the way there, you pass Birdies Bistro, or "Dickies" as my partner christened it, it is well recommended for brunch. Within easy access of the accommodation, there is a choice of supermarkets; Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Asda and Lidl, with Waitrose just down the road in Truro. Our visit at Abelia ended far too soon. It is a property that captures that rare essence of feeling like a home; somewhere that you want to live, not just stay for a holiday or short break. My only question to the property owners and Cornwall Hideaways, is when can we come and stay again?
