About this property
This property is set on a working farm and has a lovely traditional farmhouse feel. It is the perfect place from which to enjoy this stunning area of Cornwall. It’s just one mile from the harbour village of Coverack, with its fishing boats and pleasure craft offering visitors the chance to take to the seas. The beach here is a sandy crescent shape and is ideal for both swimmers and windsurfers (including windsurfing school). Coverack itself has several places to eat or grab a coffee. Further afield the rest of the Lizard Peninsula has many stunning beaches, making it a favourite destination for artists and nature lovers.
This granite barn has been converted to a tasteful holiday home with a rustic feel and you will feel instantly relaxed here. When you enter the barn you find yourself in the spacious open-plan lounge/diner with its comfortable sofas, open fire, a Smart TV and DVD player. The dining area lots of space with a large table seating eight, perfect for enjoying family meals. The kitchen has a table for two, perfect for enjoying a tea or coffee in the morning before everyone else is up. Guests will find everything they need here to prepare meals, including an electric cooker, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and washer/dryer. One of the twin bedrooms is located on the ground floor along with a handy cloakroom/WC. Upstairs there are three further bedrooms: the first has a king-sized bed with en-suite shower and WC. The two further rooms are a second twin and a single. The first-floor family bathroom has a shower over bath, WC, and airing cupboard.
Outside, the property has a generous patio and lots of seating, This overlooks the pretty shared lawn area which wraps around the side of the barn. This is the place to catch the afternoon sun. The owners are happy for guests to explore the farm and visit the animals.
