This contemporary first-floor apartment, in the heart of Coverack fishing village, offers big sea views around the beautiful bay. From external steps up you enter the hallway of this modern and spacious retreat, where the open plan living area boasts a big picture window overlooking the ocean, with a dining area for social feasts, and a balcony for alfresco nibbles and tipples set against the sea backdrop. The kitchen boasts all you could need for your self-catered stay including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, and microwave. There are three welcoming bedrooms; the master with king-size bed and en-suite shower room, followed by a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, ensuring flexible sleeping arrangements. There is also a pristine separate bathroom, ideal for that relaxing soak after a day at the beach or discovering the scenery from the coast path. During the warmer months, you and your loved ones can make the most of the rear garden with its patio area and seating, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee whilst soaking up the coastal surroundings. Amble downhill to pretty Coverack village, where you’ll find a fabulous foodie pub, cafes, shops for provisions and an art gallery to browse. Explore the harbour and little sandy beach; take a kayak out or simple enjoy fish and chips by the sea. The Lizard Peninsula boasts many traditional fishing villages with hidden coves, rugged headlands and sandy beaches, just a short drive away. Coverack is a small fishing village on the Lizard Peninsula, a few miles from Lizard Point in Cornwall, the most southerly point on mainland Britain. Coverack is a beautiful and peaceful place to escape the main tourist routes and offers a beach in the sheltered bay, which is ideal for swimming, windsurfing and kayaking, as well as shops, pub and restaurants. St Keverne (4 miles from Poldowrian) has a Post Office, shops and 2 pubs. The Lizard Peninsula has many spectacular coves and beaches and is noted for its rare geology and plants. From Lizard Point there are wonderful sea views from the windswept cliffs, which provide fabulous walking opportunities along this stretch of the South West Coast Path. Inland is the market town of Helston, known for its Flora Day Festival, and in Gweek is The Cornish Seal Sanctuary. Flambards theme park is just 20 minutes' drive away and just over ten miles away is the Culdrose Airfield, where once a year the public are welcome to come and meet the Fleet Air Arm, the Royal Navy’s flying force. Coverack is ideally located for exploring The Lizard Peninsula, as well as the lovely seaside towns of St Ives and Falmouth and many other beaches and pretty villages.

The property was wonderful and extremely comfortable. It's not often we stay in a holiday home and turn the heating down because it's so toasty and snug. A lot of thought has been put into the furnishings and our woofs loved their welcome treats. The garden was completely safe for dogs, if there was a means of escape ours would have found it and they didn't. The housekeeping and maintenance was top notch and we would highly recommend staying here. The property is on a steepish hill which didn't bother us.

Everything - from the stunning sea views, welcome cream tea, excellent facilities and the comfiest of beds - was just fabulous! The best place we have stayed on The Lizard - and we have stayed at many!!!

Very comfortable, nicely designed and all on one level once youâve come up the few steps to the front door. Wonderful large windows on 2 sides in the sitting and dining room and patio door straight out to the enclosed patio and well maintained garden - which our little elderly dog also appreciated. Views out to sea from one of the bedrooms and a large glass balcony door. Sweet twin room for kids and another double room looking out on to the garden. We loved our holiday, the bay is full of ocean wildlife !!! We watched Gannets diving, the local family of seals every day, dolphins regularly, and once, an hour long feeding frenzy of dolphins, tuna and gannets all from the luxury of the sitting room with our binoculars. Also lovely coastal path walks. Never a dull moment! Highly recommended esp for nature lovers.
