Guests say

The Old Granary in Cornwall receives high praise for its cleanliness, tranquil and scenic location, and comfortable amenities. Guests appreciate the well-maintained garden, the thoughtful touches like cream teas on arrival, and the property's suitability for families and pets. The central location is ideal for exploring Cornwall, with friendly hosts enhancing the stay.

Reviews consistently mention the cleanliness of the cottage, with several guests noting it was spotless and well-maintained. The attention to detail in keeping the property clean is frequently commended.

The property's location is described as tranquil and scenic, with easy access to both north and south coastlines. Some guests mention the challenge of a single track road, but the seclusion and peacefulness are seen as positive attributes.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, with several reviews highlighting the comfort of the living spaces. The garden adds to the overall comfort, providing a serene setting for relaxation.

The facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen, strong shower, and useful shared utility room. However, some guests experienced issues with the Wi-Fi and fridge size, slightly affecting the score.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident through the provision of cream teas on arrival and a well-stocked kitchen. While these gifts are warmly received, it is noted that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The hosts were welcoming and friendly and the cream tea was a lovely surprise. The location is perfect for visiting many places of interest in Devon as well as Cornwall, coastal and inland. I shall certainly be revisiting with my Goldies, who loved having a large secure garden in which to play.

Really well equipped and the cream tea left for us was a nice thought and delicious. Whilst there isn't a private garden attached to the cottage as such, you can use the communal one, which is large, very pretty and peaceful with amazing views of the countryside and has comfortable seating areas and very safe for children and dogs. We felt totally at home here thanks to our hosts Lauraine & Ulli. We will definitely return.
