Just a short drive from Looe, Polperro, Talland Bay and Fowey, this is a wonderfully private retreat for couples, families, friends and dog owners looking to slow down, switch off and explore Cornwall’s coast from a tranquil base. The lodge sits within a generous plot, offering a good sense of seclusion, with solar-lit steps guiding you up to the entrance. Outside, a wraparound deck creates a calm, leafy setting to relax, dine outdoors or sink into the bubbling hot tub beneath the trees, listening to the stream and birdsong rather than traffic.
Inside, the open-plan living space feels bright, airy and welcoming, with a vaulted ceiling, exposed beam and large windows drawing the outdoors in. Comfortable leather sofas, a Smart TV and a cosy wood burner make this an inviting spot for relaxed evenings in, whether after a beach day or a woodland walk. Home to a variety of eateries including cafés, restaurants, and indulging takeaway shops, the village holds a wide selection of cuisines to cater for any type of food you feel like. Offering a park and gardens, the local area is a great spot for the little ones to play and for the nature lover to uncover the natural wonders of Lincolnshire. In close reach is Grimsby, a large coastal seaport holding even more attractions.
