We had a lovely stay at the cottage, which is set at the bottom of a lengthy, narrow private road. The hosts were very friendly both before and during our stay. Upon arrival, everything was clean and tidy. The well equiped kitchen / diner was great for family time and the garden area was beautiful too. There is an electric shower in the 1st floor ensuite and an over bath shower in the ground floor. The double mattress downstairs could do with replacing, however the kids say that the single beds were very comfy. The vac and tumble dryer were useful. A mop would have been helpful. We had older people with us, who weren't able to walk into town, however it's only a relatively short walk to the amazing river, pubs and shops.Overall, great value and easy to drive to other parts of Cornwall. We went into St Austell, Fowey and were able to get to a number of beaches and fishing villages. Charlestown and Mevegessey were lovely.
