Guests appreciate the well-equipped property, the welcoming touches like scones and wine, and the helpfulness of the host. Despite some teething problems with heating and Wi-Fi, the overall experience is one of luxury and relaxation in a stunning setting.
The property is consistently described as spotlessly clean, with no negative comments on cleanliness, indicating a high standard maintained throughout.
The location is frequently highlighted for its tranquility, superb views, and proximity to local attractions. However, the remote nature and internet connectivity issues slightly affect the score.
Guests find the beds very comfortable and the house warm, even in bad weather. The spaciousness adds to the comfort level, though some furnishings were noted as missing.
The property is well-equipped, but there have been some issues with heating, Wi-Fi, and a lack of some expected items like a BBQ and garden furniture, which impacts the score.
The welcome pack with scones, wine, and other items is frequently mentioned and appreciated. However, it is important to note that such gestures, while common, are not guaranteed.

It's a really comfortable and spacious house - and is very well suited to a large family holiday. Really warm, very comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, excellent fridge facilities (very important for groups), spotlessly clean, plenty of parking, lovely gardens, very peaceful. Lerryn is a short walk away and is utterly charming. We had a wonderful week - internet but slow....but to some that's a plus, especially since we love a slow holiday.....time to catch up with the ones you love! Thank you - ''Ribby-roo'' has been added to the frequent fly list x Tremendulant!

Garden stunning. We had full quota of family staying. There's simply not enough outside seating and seating is needed both sides of garden. No BBQ. I have NEVER hired where there's has not been what should be standard. Treats left very nice thank you. But also basics of salt and pepper???? We didn't bring as again these minimal standard?? No colander??? For 8 people trying to strain pasta and vegetables through a small sieve? And not enough clothes pegs. We had issues with WiFi and owner was extremely upsetting to my daughter who contacted her to say we were having issues. My daughter was polite. Owner, At around 4-5pm on the Saturday said that if we were not happy she was happy to return my money and we could go elsewhere!!!!!!!???????? Saturday late afternoon evening? 6 adults and 3 children? All unpacked and settled?????? This is APPALLING treatment! Owner said never had issues with WiFi normally..... Engineer came out mid week and said he has been so many times out to the house he knows his way with his eyes shut! Apparently constant issues as a cable outside regularly gets cut by local farmer ploughing! Owner's Tone and remarks were utterly inappropriate, unreasonable and rather cruel. I'm seriously unhappy about this. We were comfortable at the property but this left a very bad underlying air to our week......

We were two elderly couples staying in an, obviously, oversized house, but even for eight people it would have been spacious. The property is remote and the weather was awful, but we were extermely warm and comfortable. We would happily return but we are about to get a puppy, so this will preclude us in the future.
