Outside, guests can relax on the private patio and enjoy an alfresco drink. Just five minutes' walk from magical Alton Towers, this cottage is superbly located for a day of thrills and spills on the many wonderful rides this famous theme park has to offer. Alternatively, take advantage of great walking and golf within easy reach. A fabulous base to meet up and enjoy the Peak District!
The village of Farley consists of a small scattering of cottages and farms on the Alton Towers estate. Alton Towers has rides and attractions aimed at everyone, including white knuckle rides, Toyland for the younger guests, boating on the lake, magnificent gardens and rides on the cable car. Nearby, the market town of Ashbourne features an array of antique stores and a choice of pubs and restaurants. Attractions like Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Dovedale, and the Derbyshire Villages of Ilam, Hartington and are also within easy reach.

It was in an ideal location for our visit to Alton towers, literally at the entrance! Great facilities in the cottage. The only small thing I would say is that the downstairs bed and one of the doubles beds upstairs werenât very comfy, the mattresses were quite thin. But this didnât spoil our stay and I would recommend it to anyone!!
