We had a super week in Holywell Bay and were so pleased with the kitchen equipment especially as it was the Christmas week. Thank you for the Christmas tree which provided a festive welcome when we arrived. Also the foody bits that were left were a lovely treat and much appreciated. The house was really clean and the layout suited a busy family. It took a while to warm the house up as it had presumably been empty the previous week and the heating was still turned down very low, but we managed to get the heating going after studying the information given. We drive an electric car so one of the attractions was the charging point at the property, given Cornwall is not well-equipped with fast chargers. When we tried to use it, the charger was not connected to the internet so we ended up having to drive an alternative route home and stop to charge then. Not a big issue, but it would be helpful if it was working, especially as it’s an attractive feature of the property.

Our stay at this beautiful home was amazing. The house is stunning and has all the home from home comforts you could ask for. It was impeccably decorated spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you will need for your entire stay. The owners have literally thought of everything. It’s very spacious with stunning views and located with in 5 minutes walk of the pub and beach, beach bar cafe does lovely breakfasts, what more could you wish for. There is a little shop, post office and bakers and fish shop just under 2 mile walk and we noticed buses in and out of Holywell Bay frequently. We had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Hopefully soon :-)
