Nice property and great location with great views and a 5min walk to the sandy cove which is perfect! (sea does come in quickly though during the day). Only a pub and pizza place near the beach, so have to head into Newquay for any food shops, or have a online delivery done. Location is amazing other than the lack of a local shop where the pub is. Was worried reading other reviews about the cleaning, but was pretty good overall and house is well equipped with Washer/Dryer, hair dryers, clothes horse, iron and iron board, kettle and boiling water tap (read below safety warning on this). SAFETY NOTE: Kitchen mixer tap is a bit dangerous as no safety twist to stop children or even adults turning it on thinking its a hot tap - just a plastic sign saying its boiling water but as it looks like a standard mixer tap and works the same way, everyone would just turn it on like normal. Some improvements that would make it perfect: > Better pillows on the beds > Hooks on back of doors (especially in the bathrooms - no where to hang anything) especially in the main bathroom only a small radiator to hang bits on. > Toilet roll holders on the walls in all toilets > Some safety measures on the hot boiling tap (looks just like a hot tap and had a near miss) > Oven only has one shelf - would be better to have 2 plus another oven tray and some oven gloves

Location of the property was great - fantastic views from the property out over Porth beach and some amazing sunsets. Also liked the local area - good options for food/drinks and activities within 10/15 minutes walk. Beach was great and perfect time to visit in early July as not too busy. First time visiting Cornwall but would definitely return, and stay at Porth Cove again without any hesitation.
