Guests say

Little Owl Lodge is highly praised for its well-equipped amenities, cosy atmosphere, and great location for exploring Cornwall. Guests appreciate the secure and spacious setting, with special mentions of the sunset views from the decking and the welcome bottle of Prosecco. While some noted minor issues with traffic noise and bed comfort, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many looking forward to returning.

The lodge generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'lovely clean' and 'really clean'. There was a minor note about areas under sofas and beds needing more attention, but this does not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.

The location is well-regarded for its proximity to local attractions and beaches, with guests finding it ideal for exploring both northern and southern Cornwall. However, some guests mentioned traffic noise due to the nearby road, which slightly impacts the score.

Comfort is consistently mentioned as a positive aspect, with the lodge being described as 'warm and comfortable' and 'cosy'. Some guests found the beds a bit uncomfortable, which is taken into account in the score.

Facilities are highly rated, with the lodge being described as 'well equipped' and 'maintained'. The presence of a log burner, secure garden, and well-equipped kitchen contribute to the high score. A suggestion for a dryer and the provision of basic condiments are noted.

While guests have expressed appreciation for the welcome bottle of Prosecco, as gifts are not consistently mentioned across the reviews, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness. It should be noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

Our second visit to this well equipped lodge. It was warm and comfortable throughout our November stay. Supermarkets only a 10 minute drive away and beaches nearby. Despite being close to the main road there was almost no traffic noise inside the lodge.
