Wonderful position. The front garden would be great but it was too dangerous. No fence and a really steep drop. That needs to be sorted.

All beds are old and worn out. Sinking into the mattresses. No table on the roof terrace. We made it work for us but don’t think we will be coming back to this property. Location is great.

Missed that. The local office dealt with a problem about a radiator very quickly and efficiently. All out dealings with the local staff have been excellent. Lovely new kitchen and very well equipped. Adequate number of towels but bath towels too small. When we stayed here 8 years ago for Xmas the tree was already up which was lovely. This time there was nothing to indicate Xmas until we found the tree in the cellar and put it up. The house information could have included local churches. We also needed to know what to do with bottles. For many years it has been in at 3 and out at 10. Changed understandably immediately after Covid but should now go back. For 12 people to be out by 9.30 means a very early start. Trying to contact the local office meant going through Sykes head office which was annoying and didn’t always work. We have always found John Bray very good but not impressed with being part of Sykes.
