The Newlyn School of Art and Newlyn Copper, as well as the Cornwall Coastal Path and the level Mousehole to Marazion cycle path, pass through the town. Both offer an abundance of wildlife and flora, including basking sharks, dolphins, and grey seals. Surfing and sea bass fishing are popular on Penwith's beautiful beaches, which are part of the Cornish coast's surfing legacy.
