Guests say

Bos Lowen in Cornwall is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, superb location near Mousehole, and comfortable furnishings. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like cream teas on arrival, though these are not guaranteed. The property boasts a well-equipped kitchen, a lovely garden, and a cosy atmosphere. Access is narrow, and the proximity to a church with hourly bells is noted. The local pub is a bonus for many.

The majority of guests found the cottage to be spotlessly clean, contributing to a pleasant stay. There were a few isolated comments about specific cleanliness issues, but these seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to Mousehole and local attractions. The scenic walks and the convenience of a nearby pub add to the appeal. The narrow access lane is mentioned, but it does not significantly detract from the overall positive reception of the location.

Guests generally regard the cottage as comfortable, with special mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy living space. Some guests noted the church bells and small downstairs bedrooms, which may affect light sleepers or those requiring more space.

Facilities are well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. However, there are comments about maintenance issues such as a dripping tap and a broken garden chair, suggesting room for improvement.

While many guests mention and appreciate the cream tea on arrival, it is not consistently reported across all reviews, and as such, cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, a score cannot be accurately provided for thoughtfulness based on the available information.

Wonderful place to relax. So lovely tucked behind the church with a fabulous pub just the other side of the churchyard. Everyone we met in the village were all very friendly as were the pub staff. Excellent food there too. If you have children or a dog the house also has an enclosed garden with a shed containing furniture and a BBQ. Loved our stay and will hopefully return.

Comfortable and in a good location for touring round. Pub within a two minute walk. Milk and scones on arrival was appreciated after a long journey. Owner was lovely. We had a great week. Thank you.

Lovely house and enclosed garden, very clean and comfortable..thanks to the owner for providing the scones and essential starter pack. No trouble driving the car between the entrance walls . Pleasant walk down to mousehole ...lots to see and good choice of eateries. Made very welcome by the staff at King's Arms which is only a couple of minutes stroll to the nearest pub 2 mins from house. Would recommend booking above.
