Guests say

Midge is a well-received cottage in Penzance, praised for its cleanliness, peaceful yet convenient location, and comfortable amenities. Guests appreciate the spaciousness, well-equipped kitchen, and enclosed garden. The property is suitable for families and those with mobility needs, offering easy parking and proximity to attractions. A cream tea welcome gift is a delightful touch, though such gestures are not guaranteed.

Guests consistently describe the property as clean and well-maintained, indicating high standards of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for being peaceful and close to nature, yet conveniently near to Penzance, Newlyn, and other attractions, making it an excellent base for exploring Cornwall.

Reviews highlight the property's comfort, mentioning comfortable sofas and beds, underfloor heating, and ample space for relaxation, suitable for families and multi-generational stays.

The property is noted for its top-quality facilities and well-stocked kitchen. However, a minor complaint about the lack of egg cups suggests room for improvement in minor details.

While the cream tea left for guests is a thoughtful gesture, there is insufficient information to score thoughtfulness overall, as such gifts are not guaranteed and not all reviews mention them.

We loved staying here for a week over New year. The house was lovely, well equipped and perfect for the 6 of us. Appreciated the parking for 3 cars, as we all arrived separately and it can be difficult to find enough parking. It was a very quiet location, no traffic noise but also perfect as the drive was just off the main road, so no tricky, narrow roads to get to it. The sofas and beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water and good pressure in the showers and great underfloor heating, with a large log burner if needed. Would 100% recommend

An elegant linked cottage down a rural drive. Everything in good order on arrival. Top quality facilities, although the accommodation is not cheap..Good quiet location within a short driving distance of several places such as Newlyn,Penzance and Mousehole.Only a very minor complaint we could not find any egg cups for our boiled eggs!

Midge is in an excellent location, just a few minutes away from Newlyn and Penzance, but very peaceful, it feels as if you are in the middle of the countryside. The property is spacious, clean and comfortable with an enclosed garden and easy parking.
