In addition to a typical bucket-and-spade beach that is lifeguarded in the summer and is surrounded by rugged cliffs and a lovely coastal path, Perranporth has a tonne of traditional pubs and stores. Could do with a proper grill pan for the oven.

Lots to see in the surrounding countryside. The cottage was wonderful with all contingencies catered for and I would not hesitate to book it again if holiday in Cornwall again.

We felt right at home as soon as we parked up and opened the door. Straightforward key collection, and arrived to the twinkly fairy lights over the log burner and lit the fire and settled into this cosy haven for the week visiting friends and family. Plenty of space, and great layout for a family with thoughtful additions such as the stair gates and boardgames. The sofa really is as comfortable as it looks in the photos too! Loved the area, being tucked away in the countryside but only a few minutes drive into Perranporth. We explored nearby Chapel Porth, St Agnes, Crantock and Fistral beaches despite it being February and the kids paddled in the rock pools for hours. We also enjoyed a fantastic family meal at The Summer House down on Perranporth Beach which was a lovely treat. Hope to be back soon.
