About this property

Teach Tra East is a pleasing pet-friendly ground-floor apartment, nestled in the town of Perranporth, in Cornwall. Perfect for couples or friends seeking a coastal escape, this abode features an open-plan design, a sofa bed for flexible sleeping arrangements and proximity to amenities, including a beach. Walk towards your new abode and take in the surrounding countryside. Warm up the hob in the contemporary kitchen area, fitted with sleek grey fixtures and all the essentials, utilise this space to cook up something special for your loved one. Why not make the most of the countryside views and dine alfresco on the patio, with the sea breeze nearby? Once your hunger is satisfied, retreat to the sitting area, where a warm-toned wooden feature wall and a corner sofa invite you to curl up and plan the adventures ahead.

Head to the shower room to refresh before bed, rinse away the sea salt and let the warmth of the shower restore you. The bedroom continues the earthy theme with a wooden feature wall, a double bed, and patio doors leading outside. If you are with a friend, there is a sofa bed to provide flexible sleeping arrangements for the night. Sink into soft sheets and let the day fade away. In the morning, enjoy a brew whilst taking in the lovely views surrounding you. The beach is located behind the property; why not take a stroll through the sand dunes with your furry friend to enjoy the sunrise? After a day on the beach, stroll through the sand dunes back to Teach Tra East and unwind.

Perranporth, a beautiful Cornish coastal town, lies in the heart of Poldark Country, the setting for the novels of Winston Graham who lived in Perranporth in the 1930s. Perranporth offers plenty of traditional pubs and shops, plus a classic bucket-and-spade beach that is lifeguarded in summer, overlooked by craggy rocks and a wonderful coastal path. Once known as the source of the finest tin, the community still retains reminders of the rich heritage with abandoned pump houses, mine shafts and workers’ cottages. The local Blue Hills Museum and Perranzabuloe Folk Museum are both well worth a visit to understand the fascinating history of this coastal area. Further afield are the miles of sandy beaches at Crantock and Holywell Bay, and the breathtaking coastal walks around St Agnes, much of it owned by the National Trust. A perfect holiday base in Cornwall, with an abundance of activities to suit everyone.
