Bay View is a stunningly-presented holiday lodge located in the beautiful seaside village of Portreath, nestled in Cornwall. Situated on a holiday park, this retreat boasts close proximity to endless amenities and the beach, making it an ideal escape for families and groups travelling with a furry friend or two. On the property's decked veranda, you'll find seating to enjoy good food in the sun and a hot tub with the coastline backdrop. Step inside to find a well-presented, contemporary, open-plan living concept with a seating area and woodburning stove, perfect for those quiet evenings in. Socialise around the dining table and catch up on the day’s activities. The well-equipped kitchen will please any budding chef of the party to whip up a storm. A sleek bathroom has an embedded TV, and three beautifully-styled bedrooms, all boasting their own TVs. Tear yourself away from your haven to visit the rest of the park and village where you'll be spoilt for choice of eateries and activities; tuck into a delicious meal at Portreath Arms pub with its beer garden overlooking the sea, head to Pod Café Portreath for some delicious breakfast and local treats such as Cornish pasties and ice cream, and bask in the sun on the soft, fine sand at Portreath Beach. Drive down to the amazing coastal town Falmouth and visit Pendennis Castle, a stunning castle built by Henry VII with breathtaking estuary views. Walk through Trebah Garden; a sub-tropical paradise with seasonal blooms, trees, and a private beach, and for a taste of history go to the National Maritime Museum Cornwall to see the boats and other maritime artefacts. Another lovely seaside town for you to visit is St. Ives, Cornwall's best-loved town, where you can walk through the exhibitions of Tate St Ives, the iconic gallery overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, head to The Leach Pottery, and try your hand at making your own ceramic trinket, and end the day at Porthgwidden Beach Cafe for some beachside dining on a sun terrace. Bay View is the perfect base for a coastal holiday.
Port Appin is a picturesque coastal village with excellent local facilities, and many places of interest nearby. It is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise, as the area is rich in beautiful walks, varied cycle tracks and opportunities for a variety of watersports. The village is not only stunningly pretty, but also boasts two award-winning hotels, a village shop/Post Office, a bicycle hire shop and fishing from the jetty. From the small jetty, a 5 minute ferry ride will take you across the Lynn of Lorn to the unspoilt island of Lismore, the most accessible of the Argyll islands, and a beautiful tranquil place steeped in history with ruined castles and an Iron Age Broch. The bustling town of Oban is a short drive to the south and just 29 miles north is Fort William with Ben Nevis - the largest mountain in Britain; both places are well worth a visit!

So well equipped and comfortable. A couple of small cleaning issues, mostly in the bathrooms, but easily sorted. Bed so comfortable. The amazing hot tub was very well used by us,gazing at the stars and super moon, what more can you ask for!, We are moving to Cornwall hopefully in the next two months but would certainly recommend staying here at Bay View as the whole complex is so well maintained. Thankyou for making our stay so perfect
