Hideaway is a detached cottage on one level, aptly named as it is tucked away in Charlestown, along a private lane, just a few minutes stroll from shops, pubs, restaurant and beach. Hugely convenient for couples or small family. Step from a neat gravelled garden into the open-plan living-dining room and kitchen area. The two bedrooms, a king-size double with en suite shower-room and a twin, have lovely big floor to ceiling windows between original granite pillars, giving a hint to the origins of this comfy cottage. There is also a family bathroom. Between the cottage and the friendly owners' house is a neat paved, sunny garden area with garden furniture and an external utility room. A comfy base within easy reach of good golf and beautiful gardens to visit.
A delightful and much sought-after coastal village of stone cottages and Regency houses, on the south coast near St. Austell. Famous for its collection of tall ships riding at anchor in the harbour, the shipwreck museum, excellent pubs and restaurants and easy access to the coastal path, it's the perfect holiday destination.
