Excellent property, great location and fantastic hosts who went over and above. The cottage is well equipped and in a peaceful location within 15min to 20min of local shops/pubs. Portholland beach is only 3/4 mile away and a steady walk down the lane. Couldn’t fault the location, cottage or hosts and will be back again at some point.

My family and I loved staying here. the hosts were exemplary and made us feel very welcome. They added small touches like scones and milk and left cleaning essentials. The cottage was clean and very well decorated. We slept well and felt very comfortable. We liked the fact it was out the way and not on a main road and it was peaceful. There are plenty of supermarkets a short drive away and you can get shopping delivered through an online shop. Plenty of pubs a short drive away that serve delicious food. Also try St Austell brewery and Carlyon bay. Absolutely beautiful. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We have just returned home from a wonderful week at Grainstore 1. The cottage’s are peaceful but not totally isolated with the owners being next door. Lots to see and do in the area- and spoilt for choice by dog friendly beaches and pubs. It was so good we’ve already booked to return next year!
