We had an amazing time in this beautiful cottage. The area was stunning (you do need a car to get to anything or it's a long walk) but we wanted something remote and quiet so was perfect for us.The owners are super friendly and helpful. Well stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly need to cook with. Pool rota was great as we got to use the pool every day to ourselves. We will definitely be back

It’s a very remote location but we knew that. Local amenities are few and far between but again, we knew that. The nearest village (about one mile away) is Sticker, it has a pub and a Londis convenience store which is not small and is well stocked. Rescorla farm is extremely quiet, the noisiest thing will be the farm’s agricultural machinery but even this was quite uncommon. You will have to travel out to do things but, this is part of the charm of Rescorla, its remoteness. Do 100% adhere to the recommendation to ignore satnav to enter the site via Nunnery Hill and use the instructions from Rescorla. Out of interest, we walked the non-recommended route from Rescorla to Nunnery Hill and it’s so narrow, overgrown and there are very few passing places. It’s bonkers.

A fabulous cottage, with absolutely everything we could want or need. Lovely swimming pool, and a very peaceful location. Very clean, comfortable, and I loved all the fresh flowers in the kitchen and bedrooms. Friendly and helpful owners. I would heartily recommend!
