Willow Lodge in St Austell receives high praise for its peaceful setting, well-kept grounds, and excellent location for exploring local attractions such as the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. Guests particularly enjoyed the clean, comfortable accommodation and the relaxing hot tub. Families appreciated the on-site playground and animal corner. While most reviews highlight cleanliness and comfort, a few mention minor maintenance issues and occasional dust or musty smells. Overall, guests found the lodge to be a great value and would recommend it for a relaxing getaway.
Most guests found the lodge very clean and well maintained, with only a couple of reviews mentioning dust in radiators and a musty smell in the bathroom. The majority of feedback is positive, but the occasional mention of cleanliness issues brings the score down slightly.
The location is frequently praised as a great base for visiting local attractions and enjoying a tranquil environment. Guests appreciated the beautiful views and peaceful surroundings, though a car is recommended for exploring the area.
Guests consistently mention comfortable beds and a relaxing atmosphere, ideal after long days out. The lodge is described as cosy and quiet, contributing to a restful stay.
Facilities such as the hot tub, WiFi, smart TV, playground, and animal corner are well received. Minor maintenance issues like a loose gate latch and door latch were noted but did not significantly impact the overall experience.
There are no mentions of welcome gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided for this category.

Very nice stay, my only gripes were that the gate latch on the deck was a tad loose and you needed to lift the gate to pitch the latch on properly and the door leading to the decking didn't latch unless locked, otherwise had a lovely stay.
