Guests say

Guests have had a delightful experience at 207 The Glades, praising its cleanliness, peaceful setting, and the variety of on-site activities suitable for all ages. The property is well-equipped, offering a serene lakeside view and a relaxing hot tub. Some guests mentioned minor issues with maintenance and privacy during ongoing work, but the overall sentiment remains positive.

The property received high praise for its cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'gorgeous', 'lovely and clean', and having everything on hand for a comfortable stay.

The location is appreciated for its peacefulness and beautiful lakeside view. However, one review mentioned fencing that impacted the view and access to the lake, slightly affecting the score.

Guests found the property very comfortable, with all necessary amenities on hand. The only minor discomfort mentioned was the lack of a large frying pan and the impact of external work on the use of the hot tub.

The facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the hot tub. However, ongoing external work and a power outage, as mentioned by a guest, indicate some issues with maintenance during their stay.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so it is not possible to assess this category.

Very clean, tidy and comfortable. Plenty of parking outside the house. Certainly felt like home for the week. Had a wonderful time. Providing a cream tea was a lovely touch. Family enjoyed the facilities on site. Handy to visit local attractions. Would definitely recommend!

There was herras fencing everywhere there we’re diggers digging up the land behind our accommodation, so to use the hot tub in the day we were doing it in front of the workers and then to sum it up we had no power for the day and evening. The owners were really helpful but all we got out of Sykes and Retallack was it is in the terms and conditions no help whatsoever so I will not be using either of the two again. They are not interested in the customer at all

We brought some pint glasses, could do with normal big frying pan. Disappointed about the fencing, did spoil view and access to the lake. Which is why we booked the house.
