The dining area forms part of the open plan living area and is conveniently located next to the kitchen archway, allowing guests to socialise with those busy preparing meals. A large oak dining table with six matching cream leather chairs are ideally placed to dine with a view. An open archway from the rear kitchen to the living area means you won’t miss out on the magical Cornish vista if you’re the dedicated chef. The bright and spacious contemporary rear kitchen is well appointed, with everything you could require during your holiday. The master en-suite bedroom has the wow factor, the views will take your breath away.
Open the double French doors with a Juliette balcony and relax listing to the waves. Lie back on the majestic, king size oak bed it is sure to provide a good night’s sleep with its Hypnos Ortho mattress. The second twin bedroom is located to the rear of the property. This quiet comfortable room provides two single beds, also boasting Hypnos Ortho mattresses. Sit back and watch the tide ebb and flow on the beach below from the living area’s covered balcony. A table and four chairs are provided for drinks watching the sunset over St Ives. As this is on the second floor children should always be accompanied.
The balcony is directly above the garden from which a path leads down to the beach by a private gate. Access to the South west coast path can be found here to walk to St Ives or jump on the scenic nearby train. It stops at the beautiful Cornish fishing village and connects to Cornwall’s main line.
Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside town of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the boutique hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branchline. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country.
