Guests say

Guests consistently praise Oceania for its stunning views, prime location, and high-quality amenities. The apartment's comfort and thoughtful touches, such as welcome gifts, contribute to a memorable stay. While most experiences are positive, a few guests noted issues with cleanliness and maintenance that slightly marred an otherwise exceptional stay.

The majority of guests found the apartment to be clean and well-presented. However, a few reports of cobwebs, stained rugs, and an unpleasant odour suggest room for improvement in this area.

The location is highly commended for its proximity to the beach, harbour, and town, with guests appreciating the convenience and the breathtaking views it offers.

Guests frequently mention the comfort of the apartment, noting the quality of the beds and furnishings. Some concerns were raised about the suitability of the single beds for young children.

Facilities are generally praised, especially the well-equipped kitchen and entertainment options. However, comments about the need for maintenance in bathrooms and on the decking, as well as a locked safe, indicate that some attention is required.

The thoughtful gestures, such as welcome gifts and spa memberships, are frequently acknowledged and appreciated by guests, enhancing their overall experience. It should be noted that such gifts are a gracious addition and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Everything you need is in there for a fabulous stay for eating in plus the many brilliant eating places to choose from. I feel the bathrooms are getting ready for some maintenance around the bottom of the shower & the deckings could do with a power wash but these are very small details which didn’t affect our stay. We will be back without a doubt.

The only things I would point out are- Mattress on the master bedroom was yellow and stained and should be replaced. The single beds are not suitable for young children they are two high. Our 4 year olds struggled to get on to them & we were nervous of them falling out. The most frustrating point - we needed to bring a roof box, and I could not get an answer from you, I rang Harbour hotel & they said it would not fit. The parking space for this apartment had a more than enough height for a roof box, so this is crucial information for any family visits

This would never have happened before the sell out to Sykes! When we arrived the car park barrier was up so and I could not see how to put it down so I called the Carbis Bay number. I was answered by a person in the North of England who did not know the property or how to lower it. While I was my second hold, I found that by lifting it, I could fold it back to the ground and use the space. When it was still Carbs Bay, they knew personally every property and would have been able to tell me immediately. On day 2 we reported that the safe was locked and I like to lock our personal valuables away. It was still locked when we left - the issue was completely ignored. Again I expect the Carbis Bay team would have responded same day and opened it. Other than that, it is a great property.
