Guests say

Rosewall Retreat in St Ives, Cornwall, is consistently praised for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and spaciousness. Guests appreciate the well-equipped property, finding it comfortable and ideal for groups. The location is noted for its proximity to town and beaches, though some mention a challenging walk back. The property's peacefulness and views are also highlighted, with many guests planning to return.

Guests frequently commend the property for its exceptional cleanliness, describing it as spotless and well-maintained. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.

The property's location is generally well-received, with its proximity to St Ives and local beaches being a plus. However, some guests note the walk back from town can be steep, slightly affecting the score.

Comfort is a strong point for Rosewall Retreat, with guests finding the beds very comfortable and the house spacious. The property is described as warm and welcoming, providing a comfortable stay.

Facilities are modern and well-regarded, though there are mentions of minor issues such as a lack of hot water and a request for children's games. The property is well-equipped, but the maintenance response to issues slightly lowers the score.

While guests express gratitude for the property and some mention receiving an apology gift, there is insufficient information to assess the consistency of thoughtful gestures such as gifts, and therefore the score is set to null. It should be noted that while such gestures are appreciated, they are not guaranteed.

! The location is quiet, yet within walkable distance of St Ives and the beaches (about 30 min walk, a little longer on the way back) nearest Coop about 15 min walk away.

WE DID LEAVE A NOTE REGARDING A FEW LITTLE NIGGLES BUT NONE OF IT MAJOR.

Have visited St Ives numerous times so know it well, but if new to the area you could do with more information in the property about places to visit locally and further afield. Appreciate that we all have different opinions but useful things like bus timetable into town, car park costs/times, cafes and pubs with good sea views etc come in handy. Only thing could ask to consider about the property was the pans have metal handles which get overly hot when cooking.
