Set directly above one of Cornwall’s most spectacular bays with its blue flag award-winning beach, Surf and Sand sits in an outstanding location in Carbis Bay. The sandy beach offers water sports as well as bars and places to eat, including fine dining at the Carbis Bay Hotel. This luxury second-floor apartment, sleeping four guests and is ideal for a small family or couples. It has outstanding panoramic sea views across St Ives Bay and to Gwithian Lighthouse from most rooms, including the beach front balcony. Exquisitely furnished and extremely well-appointed, sink back into one of the inviting two-seater cream Italian leather sofas and watch nature at play, you may even spot dolphins & seals in the ocean.
Alternatively, why not take advantage of the fantastic entertainments package provided with full Sky TV including Movies, Sports, Children's channels and Netflix. The dining area forms part of the open-plan living area and is conveniently located next to the kitchen archway, allowing guests to socialise with those busy preparing meals. We really appreciated having an air fryer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Its position overlooking Carbis Bay is the highlight with the coastal footpath literally just across the road. Highly recommended and we enjoyed our week so much that we have booked to return to Surf & Sand next year.

The balcony with seating & table is a real asset. The kitchen had a range of electrical appliances, and was well stocked with glasses and crockery. A few extra items would also be useful e.g. cafetiere, bottle-opener, knife-sharpener, metal baking trays (pyrex is versatile but does not roast as well). The property owner was very helpful during our stay. On our request they delivered extra linen (as we were there for a 2 weeks).
