Head around the coastline on foot for an easy walk to nearby Daymer Bay, renowned for its gentle bathing waters and the historic St Enodoc church and golf course. Continue around until you come to Rock, a large sandy stretch of beach facing Padstow harbour. Here you can hire sailing dinghy's or book waterskiing and enjoy the many water sports on offer along the beautiful Camel estuary. Escape to the coastline with a stay at Pentire View.
The seaside village of Polzeath boasts a sandy beach, which is bordered by rock pools and is acclaimed to be one of the best surfing beaches in the country. Polzeath itself has a number of small shops, cafes and restaurants, and the South West Coast Path, a 630-mile route, runs through the village. Just over seven miles away is the popular market town of Wadebridge, which is set alongside the River Camel and offers an array of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as North Cornwall's only family-owned cinema. There’s wonderful countryside in the area, with the renowned Camel Trail passing through the town, and the nearby town of Padstow, with its harbour, pastel-washed medieval houses and celebrated restaurants is well worth exploring. Within driving distance is the UK surfing capital of Newquay, with over 11 miles of golden sandy beaches. Polzeath is an excellent base for exploring this part of Cornwall.

Otherwise a lovely bathroom. Would appreciate clothes pegs to use on the washing line (which could be a bit tighter) and a brush to go with the dustpan. Otherwise we love the house and its situation and views. This was our fourth visit I think. Covid came in between. The only problem is the parking situation. We had three free spaces at Tristram car park but were not permitted a fourth as we had one son who had to join us later. He parked on the beach. But loading and unloading holiday stuff was extremely difficult. In the past we have unloaded in the little car park below belonging to the Tube Station and then moved straight into Tristram car park. This year it was padlocked so we had to take turns with two wheels on the pavement on that narrow hill throwing out cases out and all our surfboards and boxes of food! Packing up was equally challenging. But we love being there and it suits grandparents (us), children and grandchildren.

Not overly clean - especially if you are relying on visitors to do it properly. 3. Lack of a parking space - albeit the camp site parking eventually got sorted. 4. Great location and view 5. Oven area poor - extraction hood filthy
