Had everything we wanted. Great location, loved being able to walk from the door to the SW coast path. We walked from Polzeath to Daymer Bar and Rock, then caught the ferry to Padstow (around an hour). Easy walk to Polzeath bars, cafes etc. Short car journey to other attractions: Tintagel, Llanhydroc, Prideaux Place (Padstow).

The property is well situated and so could easily spend the week without using the car. A good variety of shops in Rock which is reachable on foot though a bit of a walk. Greenaway our favourite beach for quiet. Cowrie bay was a success as we found lots of cowries. I accidentally switched off the oven when getting oven trays out of the little cupboard to the right - bit of a panic till we worked out what Iâd done! Then had to reset the clock on the oven to get it going again. Yet another great John Bray property.
