Seaview Bungalow in Axminster offers a peaceful countryside experience with beautiful views, a warm welcome, and a homely atmosphere. Guests appreciate the clean, well-equipped property, the friendly owner, and the spacious garden, which is ideal for pets and children. While some guests encountered maintenance issues, the majority had a pleasant stay and would recommend the property.
Most guests found the cottage to be spotlessly clean, contributing to a comfortable and inviting stay. There were no significant complaints about cleanliness, indicating high standards are typically maintained.
The property's location is praised for its stunning countryside views and proximity to local attractions. However, some guests noted the challenge of narrow lanes and the presence of flies due to nearby livestock, which slightly impacted the overall experience.
Guests generally found the bungalow comfortable, with a warm atmosphere and sufficient amenities. However, some reported issues with heating and soft beds, which affected their comfort during the stay.
The property is well-equipped, with a special mention of the conservatory and garden. Nonetheless, there were several reports of maintenance issues, such as heating problems and insufficient kitchenware, which necessitates a moderate score.
The owner's thoughtfulness is evident in gestures like a homemade cake on arrival, though it's important to note that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.
