Temple House in Sidmouth is a well-received holiday cottage, praised for its comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, and ample parking. Its location is ideal for exploring the town and nearby beaches. The garden and outdoor seating are appreciated, though some guests noted room for improvement in living space size and provision of amenities.
The property is generally considered clean and well-maintained, though one review mentioned it was not up to the expected standard. This suggests room for improvement in consistency.
The location is highly regarded, with guests appreciating the walking distance to the town centre, beach, and local amenities, making it an ideal base for exploring Sidmouth and the surrounding areas.
Guests find the beds very comfortable and the house warm and welcoming. However, some guests suggested the need for fans in the top floor bedroom and additional seating in the living room for larger groups.
The kitchen is well-stocked and the property is renovated to a high standard. However, there are several mentions of missing items and maintenance issues such as electrical problems and the need for additional storage and blinds.
While the property offers a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings, the lack of a welcome pack in one instance and suggestions for basic supplies indicate that the thoughtfulness towards guests' needs could be enhanced. It should be noted that gifts are a kind gesture and not guaranteed.
