If you fancy a day at the beach then some of Devon’s finest beaches are not far; try Charmouth, Seatown, Lyme Regis and Chesil and see if you can collect some fossils to take home. The Cider House is the apple of any visitor’s eye and is well worth a visit.
The lovely market town of Axminster has been made famous by the well-known organic shop and canteen in the area, which were introduced by TV presenter Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. Nestled in outstanding peaceful countryside, Axminster is certainly a place to relax and unwind.

Driving to and from the property is not for the feint hearted. It is an excellent spot for walking in the surrounding countryside and provides a very tranquil area in which to relax. A very good local pub is accessible along an enjoyable walk along a local stream. Although the property has two bedrooms, the living area is small, and the property only has one toilet. Sadly, the WiFi buffers when watching Netflix. Overall a very nice property in which to stay.
