We thoroughly enjoyed our week, the setting of the cottage is idyllic and very peaceful. The cottage itself is a bit tired and the garden needed some work ( lawn needed mowing would have set a better impression and hedges trimmed ). They certainly need to supply some decent garden furniture, as the weather was exceptional and we spent most of our time outside for meals and relaxing. Lovely walk into Sidmouth along the river Sid, our dog enjoyed paddling. Beds very comfy, plenty of hot water and enjoyed the upstairs lounge. Lovely peaceful week.

What a beautiful spot and a charming little cottage. It was very peaceful. I enjoyed walking my dog along the country lanes and it was also only a short walk to the local pub which served good food
