We had a lovely time staying in the cottage, the homemade scones were delicious and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub!

We stayed with our 16month baby and we had a great time. The stables were immaculate, warm and comfortable. The hot tub with its views over the fields was a real retreat after a long day on our feet. There was a toy/games cupboard and a children’s book shelf which our baby loved. We enjoyed the delicious homemade scones and jam, thank you. Beds were comfortable and there was always plenty of hot water. We ate at The Mitre pub which is 2minutes walk and found the food to be very good with extremely friendly staff. The village has 2 shops of which we used both. They are well stocked. There are two playgrounds, one of which we enjoyed. We had a lovely holiday at the stables and would definitely recommend this to family and friends. We look forward to staying again.

Hope House is stunning, sympathetically restored stables in a beautiful location overlooking countryside, perfect place to relax, we stayed for 3 nights but wish we’d booked longer. We also hired Anita -Clare Field (private Chef) for Saturday night, her food was amazing!!!! We decided on a menu together, it was a real treat and something we’ll definitely do again when we return. On the Sunday we had Sunday lunch at the Mitre Inn, gorgeous food and lovely staff. Weekend was perfect xx
