The kitchen/diner is amply fitted and ideal for guests to cook together due to its spacious nature and dine at the dining table. Freshen up in the bathroom with either a warm shower or a soak amongst the bubbles. There are two well-presented bedrooms to choose from, both with storage for your belongings, including a super-king-size zip/link which can be set up as a twin on request and a king-size. This property has a fantastic garden with loads of space for guests to enjoy a picnic on the raised lawn, or breakfast in the sunshine at the patio, and there is further seating tucked away into the mature shrubs, an ideal spot for catching up on a good book. Barnstaple is a lovely town resting a short distance from the coast of Devon. The town has a good selection of tasty eateries, pubs, convenience stores and independent shops for guests to browse at their leisure, as well as a local museum, golf course and walks beside the River Taw. From here, visit one of the many stunning beaches, ideal for watersports, wild swimming or just enjoying the salty air with a stroll across the sand, and options include Saunton Sands, Woolacombe Beach, and Northam Burrows Country Park. Extensive coastal hikes make the most of the dramatic scenery, including those at Blackchurch Rock in the Hartland Devon Heritage Coast. Wildlife enthusiasts will love a trip to Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park and Exmoor Zoological and Conservation Centre, and guests can head over to the lovely seaside town of Ilfracombe where there is a museum, beautiful beach and aquarium. Barnstaple enjoys a superb location at the mouth of the Taw Estuary, on the spectacular North Devon coastline between Westward Ho! and Croyde and is a short drive from the Exmoor National Park. Barnstaple is a busy traditional Devon coastal town with a pannier market, shops, restaurants and bars, along with two fabulous sandy beaches, which are popular with surfers and families. The town is renowned for its floral displays having won a Britain in Bloom award and flowers are found around every corner of the town in the most unusual places. Barnstaple lies at the end of the magnificent Tarka line railway journey, which takes you through the spectacular North Devon countryside of wooded river valleys, rugged moorland and a stretch of coastline, plus close by is the picture postcard coastal village of Clovelly. A combination of numerous long sandy beaches and family attractions makes Barnstaple a desirable holiday destination.

    The toilet seat was very loose and does need some attention as does the sealant around the bath looking a bit tired. But we all enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back Thank you very much.

    It was cosy and comfortable - We needed a break and we felt well rested after our visit. Would definately visit again!
