Bradley House is a well-received cottage in Ilfracombe, Devon, praised for its spaciousness, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches like welcome packs. The property boasts en-suite bedrooms, a games room, and a hot tub, making it ideal for large groups. While some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for additional kitchenware were noted, guests generally had a fantastic stay, enjoying both the house and its proximity to local attractions.
Guests consistently noted the property was clean and tidy, with only one mention of an issue with the hot tub cleanliness after departure. The high standard of housekeeping contributed to the overall positive experience.
The location is appreciated for its proximity to the town and harbour, despite being on a steep road and a fair walk from the seafront. The picturesque setting and local amenities were highlighted positively, although accessibility for those with mobility issues was a concern.
The comfort of the property is highly regarded, with spacious rooms and en-suites. However, some guests mentioned issues with bed slats and a sloping bed, as well as a desire for better mattresses and pillows.
Facilities like the games room, hot tub, and communal areas are celebrated, but guests suggested improvements such as more large saucepans, better recycling instructions, and minor maintenance. The lack of a tumble dryer and some issues with the induction hob were also noted.
The thoughtful welcome packs, including Prosecco and scones, were well-received, enhancing the guest experience. It should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

We were a party of 9 adults and 3 children but there was still plenty of room in the house! The house was very clean and we managed to get 4 cars on the driveway. Hot tub was a nice added bonus that we used a couple of times. Games room (basket ball and the two arcade games kept the kids entertained, my 5yr old has become a Pac man pro!). Could do with a few playstation games for younger children and an extra controller but I'm being picky. Kitchen has everything (maybe some kids cutlery would be useful but again I'm being picky). A tumble dryer would've been welcome but we got by. Think there are one or two saucepans that don't work with the induction hob. The house itself is in an ideal location. Short walk to the harbour, shops and pubs. Spoke to some of the neighbours a few times, who were lovely.

Need a better range of saucepans. Some childrenâs cutlery. Would be nice to have had a tumble dryer. Can guests use the ev charger as there wasnât much information in book and we own an electric car?
Rob
Great amount of space for all the family. The bedrooms are all amazing and so are the bathrooms. Loved the pool table, arcade games and snug, not to mention the hot tub!! Itâs about a 10 minute downhill walk to town, 15-20 minute walk to the harbour which we loved with its bars, bistro restaurants and shops. Overall a great holiday and would 100% recommend. A special mention to Teresa who got the place ready early for us
