A real home from home in the most beautiful location. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with lovely touches everywhere and the garden terrace was a sun trap, with views across the valley to the beautiful hills beyond. We had everything we needed and had a wonderful time, visiting places within a short distance by car - Woolacombe, Ilfracombe, Lynton and Lynmouth, plus Arlington Court (National Trust) and Watersmouth Castle Theme Park. The coastal path is on your doorstep with Watersmouth Harbour and Combe Martin within walking distance, although there is a handy bus stop at the end of the lane. More than ample parking for our family of 8 and the three separate bathrooms at the house were a real bonus. Would love to return.

Really enjoyed our holiday. Plenty of space for five adults and 2 children to run about in . Large garden with plenty of seating for everyone. We were close to lots of places to visit. Combe martin beach excellent and the Fiscle pub provided good food after a day on beach Watermouth valley another good day out also Dinosaur Park and Diggerland

This isn't really a holiday home for families with younger children. It's clearly been a family home, with lots of the family's possessions still there, such as photos on the wall, breakable ornaments and kitchen cupboards stuffed with useless items. Not much room for food storage. Having said that, we all had a good time, and the house was plenty big enough for all of us. Lots for young kids to do in the area. A very nice pub within walking distance.
