1 Coachman’s Cottage is a recently refurbished holiday home, completed to an excellent standard, providing exceptional accommodation for up to six people. After a busy day exploring the surrounding countryside, return to the impressive living area and relax in comfort on the large L shaped sofa. With a dining area and well equipped kitchen, plus three bedrooms, the property is very spacious. The master King-size double bedroom has southerly views and the benefit of a beautifully equipped en suite bathroom, whilst the second and third bedrooms have twin single beds. In addition to the en suite is a lovely shower room.
With baby friendly facilities available on request including a cot and high chair, as well as easy parking, this is an exceptional base for a family break all year round!
Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the stunning Start Bay coastline, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many popular events such as the annual Dart Music Festival, Dartmouth Food Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. This historic town boasts interesting landmarks, such as Dartmouth Castle, the Britannia Royal Naval College, and the National Trust’s Greenway House just a short ferry ride away. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through the rolling countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat or ferry trip across to Kingswear, on to Brixham, or down the river to the village of Dittisham. For those seeking sandy beaches, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular beaches just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.

The property has undergone extensive refurbishment over the winter of 2022 and that all issues have been dealt with.Three bedrooms: 1 x King-size with en suite (bath, wash-hand basin, w.c., shaver point and radiator), 2 x twin rooms with two single beds.

The problem with it it says you have central heating Unable to set temperature yourself have to contact owner who controls it remotely with hive. you have to ask every time about adjusting temperature. Or if itâs a bit chilly you just want to take the edge off with some heat, unable to do so, have to contact owner every time. Towel rails to small. without heating unable to dry even with airier. If you have health issues not good . Damp and cold towels not good. I have messaged owner who did set the temperature but we didnât go out one day and stayed in, shouldnât have to phone or message owner every time to put heating on. They were on holiday in France.

Fabulous location and very quiet site. Grounds are lovely and well maintained. Cottage was clean and well equipped for our stay; a home from home. Would definitely consider a return visit when we are next in Devon.

The cottage was very clean, had all youâd need in it for a relaxing stay. The location was easily accessible to Dartmouth itself, I will definitely book again to stay here and will highly recommend it to friends and family. Thank you for making a half term break so enjoyable.
