Situated at the stunning development of properties at ‘Dartmouth Green’, The Willows is in an idyllic setting adjacent to the Championship course at BEST WESTERN The Dartmouth Hotel, Golf and Spa - just four miles from the famous naval town of Dartmouth. The Start Bay coastline, including the award-winning Blackpool Sands beach is just 15 minutes’ drive away, whilst Woodlands Leisure Park, which offers a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities for families, is less than a mile away.
The Willows is a beautifully crafted stone cottage with an open plan kitchen / breakfast room on the ground floor. The room opens into a cosy sitting area with a delightful feature stone fireplace with wood-burning stove, which in turn leads to a conservatory with dining table and a door out into the garden. There are three comfortable bedrooms (all en suite). The first has a King-size bed and a fully tiled en-suite shower room, the second bedroom has two 3' single beds and a fully tiled en-suite shower room with additional door from the landing and the third bedroom has a King-size bed with an en-suite fully tilled bathroom. Baby-friendly facilities are also provided.
Outside is an attractive walled terrace with a charcoal barbeque, outdoor furniture to seat six and a parasol. The terrace leads to an extended landscaped garden. Ample parking is provided near to the property.
All holiday guests at Dartmouth Green benefit from free membership to the leisure club (including indoor swimming pool, spa and gymnasium) and reduced green fees on the golf course – making this a fantastic base for a family holiday, especially for those who enjoy sport!
Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular sandy beaches are a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
