Overlooking the ‘Boat Float’ (inner harbour), this stylish character property provides excellent accommodation for visitors looking for the convenience of the shops, restaurants and quays right on your doorstep. A wonderful place from which to watch the world go by.

I don’t understand why the sitting area has a wall mounted fire which doesn’t heat when the room doesn’t have heating ? Maybe replacing it would be a good idea , which means you could do away with the electric free standing heaters . Also the property is advertised as six guests but it only has 5 plates , 5 bowls , 5 side plates and most importantly only 5 dinning room seats. Also after maintenance I would suggest touching up the effected areas as this lets the overall appearance of this great property with the best view in Dartmouth done.

A lovely flat with absolutely stunning views of the Dart, overlooking the "Boat Float" in Central Dartmouth.Spacious and well equipped accommodation which is good value for money.I didn't allocate 5 stars because:1. Oven switch is hidden inside a lower cupboard. Quite why this wasn't included in the welcome folder is a mystery to me.... We spent ages looking for it. Please amend.2. Entry instructions specify the front door handle turns to the left: it is the right so please amend as it's hard to see in a dark alley.3. No visible heat source and reliance on night storage heaters.... Who has night storage heaters nowadays?! We felt cold and had to set up extra heaters. They give out heat when least wanted (during the day when you are out) and leave you shivering at nighttimes.4. Communal hallway is tatty and unloved... In contrast to the flat itself which is nicely decorated. This could so easily be addressed.5. I'm not surprised the third bedroom with bunk beds isn't photographed. It is tiny! A box room at best. You could only comfortably accommodate very small children in there.All that to say, I am still awarding 4 stars for the sheer beauty of the view and the perfection of the location.
