The beautiful coves and beaches found in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are also easily accessible, as is the South West Coast Path.

3 New Barn is a luxurious, modern reverse level cottage providing a spacious open plan kitchen/dining/living area, complete with an impressive cathedral ceiling and large church style window offering north facing views. The contemporary kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, the dining area seats four easily and the lounge provides ample comfortable seating – a fabulous place to relax after a day exploring the coast path. With two bedrooms on the ground floor (a master bedroom with King-size bed and en suite shower room, plus a second bedroom with twin single beds), this is great, family friendly accommodation or the perfect retreat for a group of friends. In addition to the en suite bathroom is a lovely family bathroom with whirlpool bath and telephone-style shower. Baby friendly facilities including a cot and high chair are available on request.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the stunning Start Bay coastline, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many popular events such as the annual Dart Music Festival, Dartmouth Food Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. This historic town boasts interesting landmarks, such as Dartmouth Castle, the Britannia Royal Naval College, and the National Trust’s Greenway House just a short ferry ride away. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through the rolling countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat or ferry trip across to Kingswear, on to Brixham, or down the river to the village of Dittisham. For those seeking sandy beaches, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular beaches just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
