This completely renovated two bedroom chalet has been finished to a high standard, nestled away in a site just 5 minutes outside of the main town of Dartmouth. As Dartmouth can get very busy due to its popularity, it is nice to find somewhere that feels relaxing and peaceful but without being too far away from the action.
The property is suitable for couples and families looking to take a break away in the area. Upon entering Hideaway, you will see a touch of opulence throughout. With state of the art wall-mounted Smart TV in the living area and comfortable corner sofa to the high end appliances in the newly fitted kitchen and ’Tempur’ mattrress in the master bedroom.
From the property as a base, there are many different things to do such as visiting the Royal Naval College, Collaton fishacre and Greenway House amongst other national trust properties. There are family friendly days out such as ‘Woodlands’ theme park which is only 3 miles away or why not take the ‘Round robin’ tour taking you to a variety of local towns via different modes of transport for a full day of sightseeing. Of course there is the main town of Dartmouth itself just 2 miles away. Dartmouth has an array of shops, pubs and restaurants but the nearest of these being 0.5 miles and 1.7 miles away. Beach 2 miles.

The Hideaway was a delightful place to stay.Claire has made it a cosy and attractive environment; beautiful pastel shades with pops of bright colour throughout.Never-ending hot water and radiators to keep us warm and comfortable.Kitchen appliances and TV were top notch and worked well.Bedding was good quality and the bed was very comfortable.I'd recommend the Hideaway to anyone wanting a cosy break in this area.Thanks Claire **

Just spent a really enjoyable week staying at The Hideaway.It was well equipped so had everything we needed. Lovely comfy beds ensured a good nights sleep along with a quiet and peaceful site.Claire was most helpful when my husband realised he had left something behind, very good communication before our stay too. Would definitely recommend.

A peaceful location. Accommodation spotless and offers all necessary equipment- dishwasher, washing machine, cooking utensils etc. Central to other places to visit/ Brixham, Paignton etc. Great communication from owner.
