Completing the ground floor is a cloakroom, whilst upstairs the family bathroom has a freestanding bath, spacious walk-in shower, and a heated towel rail. You'll also find two king-size bedrooms on this floor, one of which has a balcony to sip your morning coffee in the sunshine, and the second floor hosts a twin bedroom; all rooms have been beautifully appointed with plenty of space for your belongings. There are so many sights in and around Dartmouth, whether that's hiring a boat to cruise the River Dart, visiting the 15th-century Dartmouth Castle, or taking a dip at Sugary Cove Beach. The Dartmouth Arms, Rockfish seafood restaurant, and the 14th-century The Cherub Inn are just some of the fantastic eateries on offer!
Be sure to walk along the South West Coast Path to discover more of this spectacular region, with nature reserves such as the National Trust's Little Dartmouth, sheltered and sandy bays such as Blackpool Sands, whilst a short drive leads you to Fast Rabbit Farm Gardens and Woodlands Family Theme Park, sure to be a hit with the whole family. A short boat journey takes you to the neighbouring village of Kingswear with more coastal path to explore and nearby attractions such as the National Trust's Coleton Fishacre, but further afield you'll find the market town of Totnes. Climb up to Totnes Castle for panoramic views, enjoy a cold beverage along the river at Steam Packet Inn, or pack a picnic and explore Dartington Hall Gardens.
In the nearby village of Staverton, you can join the South Devon Railway to ride vintage trains along idyllic coast and countryside. Whatever your holiday plans, make The Nook your home from home whilst you explore Devon.
Dartmouth is on the banks of the magnificent River Dart in South Devon's South Hams. Dartmouth is a famous tourist destination in Devon due to its location in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail, and numerous calm country lanes around Dartmouth. Excursions to Paignton on the Dartmouth Steam Railway and Kingswear by boat are musts. There are many beaches to choose from in the South Hams, including Blue Flag winner Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands, both close to Dartmouth.
