Simple yet comfortable interiors, beamed ceilings and some low doorways (taller guests take care) create a gorgeous, peaceful cosiness yet providing all modern comforts that guests enjoy. 

Located in the pretty village of Woodleigh, pet friendly and boasting a warm and rustic atmosphere, Glebe Cottage is conveniently located betwixt coast and moorland, within easy driving distance to the sandy beaches of the South Hams and the beauty of the Dartmoor National Park.

A flight of stone steps leads from the kitchen doorway up to the stunning walled cottage garden which enjoys views of the surrounding hills, and is laid mainly to lawn surrounded by beautiful beds and borders with the addition of a charming, thatched summer house, garden table and chairs. Low walls and shrubs surround the garden. The outside steps are fairly steep and uneven in places.

On the ground floor:

Entrance hall with separate WC

Lounge with inglenook fireplace set with log burner (logs supplied), Smart TV, sofa and armchair, dresser.

Separate dining room with dining table to seat four with a second inglenook fireplace, sideboard with books and games.

Steps up to:

Kitchen with breakfast table and chairs, gas-fired range Aga-type cooker, Fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave.

Door from Kitchen to separate Shower and Utility room, with washing machine.

Cottage style staircase leads to first floor:

Bedroom 1 with King size 5ft bed, dressing table with drawers, hanging rail with shelf above.

Bedroom 2 Twin bedroom with two 3ft single beds, wardrobe with drawers.

Bathroom with bath (no shower) basin and WC, heated towel rail.

NB Please note the staircase is a little steep, the top few steps are without a side hand rail.

NB: There is no fence or gate between the garden/driveway and the lane.

glebe cottage IS very flexible ON changeover days!

Included: Bed linen and towels (guests must provide their own beach/dog towels), electricity, Wifi, heating. 

Telephone: There is no landline telephone available. Mobile reception is good, dependent upon your provider. Please check with your provider prior to booking. 

Pets: 1 dog welcome. Pet charge £30 per week.
