I have given the overall rating as 'excellent' as it ticked every box that I think one may reasonably ask of any accommodation. The kitchen was well equipped, the large log burner in the main reception room was great and my double-bed was very comfortable (my friend reports that his single bed in the other room was good).Quiet spot just off the moor. You can actually walk up from the farm and gain access to some hikes. Extremely peaceful location. Very quiet. Small water course nearby (which runs through the farmyard area) and at nigh there is no light pollution so you can nip out with a tipple and view the stars. The location is technically between Ivybridge and Harford, but in reality its approx 1 mile outside of Ivybridge. The town has a range of shops and eateries/cafes etc and a supermarket or tow for supplies.Very useful location for accessing Dartmoor - which was the main reason for booking - and afforded good hiking routes. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and gave us some useful local info. Some elements of the house were slightly dated (I only mention this as some folk like everything brand spankingly new) but everything worked and the Wi-Fi connection was great. Problems with iPhone reception but access is fine via the internet. If you enjoy a quiet location (and I do mean very quiet) without any fuss in a pleasant rural setting then this may be for you. The rear garden affords a pleasant afternoon sun and sunset, and parking is adjacent to the house.

Lovely, peaceful stay. Handy for the amenities of Ivybridge but also tucked away in a quiet location by Dartmoor. Had everything we needed and the owners were very kind.
