Guests say

Kennford in Salcombe is a well-liked property, praised for its excellent location, comfortable furnishings, and charming garden. Guests appreciate its proximity to the town and the convenience of having a parking space. The property is described as clean, well-equipped, and ideal for family stays, with a welcoming atmosphere that has encouraged repeat visits.

The property generally receives positive remarks on cleanliness, though there are isolated comments on the need for better cleaning and maintenance. The presence of a welcome pack suggests attention to detail, but the swamp-like floor on arrival in one instance indicates room for improvement.

The location is highly praised for being quiet yet conveniently close to the town centre, with the added benefit of off-street parking. Its proximity to local amenities and the CO OP is frequently mentioned as a positive aspect.

Comfort is generally well-regarded, with mentions of a comfortable main bed and well-furnished living spaces. However, there are several complaints about the quality of mattresses, duvets, and pillows, suggesting that while the property is comfortable, there is significant room for improvement in this area.

Facilities are adequate, with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely garden. However, guests have noted the lack of a second bathroom for a property that sleeps eight, the absence of a downstairs toilet, and the need for better recycling facilities. The lack of a key safe and car charging points are also mentioned as drawbacks.

There is insufficient information to assess thoughtfulness as there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate the owners' consideration for guests' experiences. Therefore, this score cannot be provided.

We had a great stay. (Constructive feedback would be, to kindly provide some basic store cupboard items: tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil & more than 2 loo rolls for a week for 8 people.) For the price, location & standard of accommodation this is a great house! We would definitely rent again. Many thanks indeed.

There was just the 2 of us and the dog so plenty of room for us. Parking is ok. Location is lovely and quiet but close enough to walk into the the town. There is as lack of recyling which didn't sit well with us. Comfortable big bed.

Good to have parking space and outdoor space. Well equipped and comfy. Attractive pictures around the house made it feel very homely.
