Guests say

Guests have enjoyed the spacious property, stunning views, and peaceful location close to the beach and Salcombe. The balcony is a highlight, offering a beautiful outlook and a place to relax. The property has been appreciated for its ample space and the convenience of having parking, despite some challenges with space.

The property generally appears to be clean, with some guests noting it was lovely and clean upon arrival. However, there have been mentions of specific areas needing more attention, such as towel radiators, window and wardrobe runners, and the presence of pet hair.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to North Sands and Salcombe, offering stunning views and easy access to the beach. The peaceful and calm environment has been a highlight for many guests.

While the property is spacious and the views are appreciated, several guests have reported that the furniture, particularly the sofas and beds, could be more comfortable. The feedback suggests that some of the furniture may need updating.

The property is well-equipped for stays, with good bathroom facilities and a terrace. However, guests have noted issues with maintenance such as the gas hob ignition and the need for clearer instructions. Some guests also mentioned the lack of storage space in the kitchen and the need for better seating.

Guests have expressed gratitude for the wine provided, which indicates thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gestures are not guaranteed and may vary with each stay.

We had a lovely time, the balcony is a huge asset and the rooms are light and airy. We only had 2 niggles, firstly the mattress on the double bed is very uncomfortable (it goes up in the middle and is low at the sides so it feels like you will fall out!) and many of the cupboards are full-we didn’t want to move stuff so we struggled to find enough room to put our things away. Other than those we cannot fault it. We shall be recommending to friends and family.

We did struggle to open the Key Lock on arrival and had to ask a neighbour for help - it got stuck but did eventually open it with the use of another key so may need checking. A spare set of keys for people in apartment would be helpful. Would have liked a bigger bread bin and some plastic containers in the kitchen but blender was much appreciated. Overall very nice, if expensive, but appreciate it was a school holiday week!

We would stay again if the price reflects this. There is a damp problem which we reported. With water stains and paint flaking off the walls, this suggests routine maintenance has been neglected. Grass growing on the balcony gives the impression the property is not being checked properly between lettings. We think it would be helpful to send the plan of the site and parking location to guests before arrival. The spaces for Flat 5 can be awkward to access when other residents are using their spaces. There are niggles, but we had a great view of the sea and easy access to the beach. This property could be great if reconfigured and refurbished.
