With a balcony and three bedrooms, 6 Bolt Head is a stunning first floor luxury apartment in an elevated position near to the wonderful beach of South Sands. The apartment is located a short walk away from South West Coastal Path and the popular National Trust property Overbeck’s, the seaside home of inventor Otto Overbeck.
This property has a modern kitchen with an open plan dining/kitchen/living area with fresh nautical decoration. Amenities in the very well equipped kitchen include a induction hob, electric oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer, beautiful fitted units and work surfaces. The dining area has a large table with chairs whilst the comfortable sitting area has two sofas, armchair, coffee table, widescreen TV with Sky, Freeview and DVD player. French doors which open out onto a balcony with views across the water to the beaches at Salcombe, East Portlemouth and Sunny Cove.
One master bedroom with a double bed and fully tiled en-suite with large shower cubicle, w.c, wash hand basin, shaver point, light and heated towel rail. A twin room with 2 x singles beds. There is also a separate fully tiled family bathroom with bath, shower (over), wash hand basin, w.c., heated towel rail, shaver point and light. There is also parking for one car.
Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.
