Guests have enjoyed the stunning views and prime location of 2 North Crest House in Salcombe, appreciating its well-equipped kitchen and spaciousness. While some guests encountered issues with cleanliness and comfort, the property's charm and proximity to the harbour make it a desirable holiday rental.
Reviews indicate a mix of experiences with cleanliness. Some guests found the property clean, while others reported issues such as unvacuumed carpets and dust. The inconsistency suggests room for improvement in this area.
The location is highly praised for its beautiful views and proximity to the harbour, making it a highlight for many guests. The convenience of the location contributes positively to the overall experience.
Comfort received mixed feedback. Guests loved the spaciousness but criticised the quality of mattresses and lack of blackout blinds, which affected their sleep quality. These aspects suggest that comfort could be enhanced.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the well-stocked kitchen. However, guests noted issues with parking, the need for a dryer, and maintenance of furniture and fittings. Improvements in these areas could enhance the overall facility score.
There is insufficient information to accurately assess thoughtfulness as there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

The house appeared to have not been cleaned, used towels still in bathroom, and bed left as last person got out of it. Communicating this to Sykes was a long laborious process dealing with three separate departments and getting cut off after about 5 minutes holding on. Eventually two ladies came and did a thorough clean and left house clean. Itâs a nice house with parking for one car 4 minute walk away.

It is looking extremely shabby from the outside, paintwork in need of attention, front garden full of weeds. It's a lovely house, but is looking a bit neglected. Kitchen well equipped, lounge spacious and comfortable, main bedroom needs fitted sheets that actually fit. On a positive note, the views of the estuary from the kitchen and bedrooms are fantastic and Coast & Country are an excellent company to deal with.

It is situated at the top of a hill so lots of leg work getting home! The cottage itself was very well equipped, spacious and the most amazing views! The only issue we had was with finding the parking space however, when we found it we couldnât access it due to works going on in the car park. I would love to return and would happily recommend it to friends and family.
